About this notice
Golden Property Management (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains how we process your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended in 2024, when you use goldenproperty.my, contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, or send us an enquiry. It is provided in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
The personal data we collect
- Details you give us: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), the project or service you are interested in, your budget range (optional), preferred viewing date and time, and anything you write in a form or message.
- For selling, renting or renovation requests: the property's address or area, type, built-up size, asking price or rent, dates and the scope of work you describe.
- Questions you type into Golden AI, the assistant on this website.
- Technical data: device and browser information, pages visited and ad-click information collected through the Google Ads tag and cookies. Your site preferences (language, theme, text size, shortlist and comparison) are saved only in your own browser.
Where it comes from
Directly from you, through our website forms, WhatsApp, phone calls and Golden AI, and from your browser when you visit this website.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and send the price lists, floor plans and packages you ask for.
- To arrange showroom viewings and register bookings with the developer.
- To carry out loan eligibility checks you request with panel banks.
- To help with the selling, renting or renovation services you ask about.
- To send you new-launch alerts and offers, only if you opt in.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Who we share it with
- The developer (EXSIM Group companies) and their sales galleries, for viewings, bookings and purchases you proceed with.
- Panel banks, lawyers and valuers, when you ask for a loan check or proceed with a purchase, sale or tenancy.
- Renovation contractors and interior designers, for renovation requests.
- Service providers that process data for us: Google (Google Sheets, which receives form submissions, and Google Ads, which measures our advertising), Meta (WhatsApp), our website host and, when the live mode of Golden AI is switched on, Anthropic, whose AI service processes the questions you type.
- Authorities, where the law requires.
We do not sell your personal data.
Transfers outside Malaysia
Some of these providers, including Google, Meta and Anthropic, store or process data outside Malaysia. By sending us your details, you consent to this transfer. We only use providers that protect personal data.
Is it required?
Your name and mobile number are needed so that we can respond to you; everything else is optional. If you do not provide them, we cannot respond to your request.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: ask for a copy of your personal data or ask us to correct it. We respond within 21 days.
- Withdraw consent or stop marketing: tell us at any time, or reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from us.
- Data portability: ask us to send your data to another organisation where this is technically feasible.
- Cookies and ads: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and control personalised ads at Google's My Ad Center (adssettings.google.com).

How long we keep it
We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it.
Security
Access is limited to our team and the service providers above, and we take reasonable steps to protect your data. If a data breach is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and the affected individuals as the law requires.
