Budget 2027 proposes keeping the full stamp duty exemption for first homes up to RM500,000 and extending relief to homes up to RM750,000: the first RM500,000 fully exempt and the balance 50% exempt, for sale and purchase agreements signed from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2030. It is a proposal until the exemption order is gazetted.
